Dress Code
Grade 8 and 9
Summer Dress Code for Boys:
Grey long trousers / White shirt / Grey long socks / Black school shoes / Maroon Drimac.
Summer Dress Code for Girls:
Grey long trousers / White shirt / Short White socks / Black school shoes / Grey jersey / Maroon Drimac.
Winter Dress Code for Boys:
Grey long trousers / White shirt / Grey long socks / Black school shoes / Grey Jersey / Maroon Drimac.
Winter Dress Code for Girls:
White shirt / Long grey trousers / Grey long socks / Black school shoes / Grey jersey / Maroon Drimac.
Hair style
Hair style (Boys):
Hair must at all times be neat. This means that it should not bunch at the back of the head or above the ears, but must be shaped and evenly graded. Hair must be clear off the collar.
Length:
• Hair from any part of the head may not cover any part of the ear.
• Hair must be above the eyebrows, even when combed forward.
• Inappropriately short styles are not acceptable.
• No shaved patterns are allowed.
• Hair must be evenly graded, no steps.
Hair may not point away from the head in a permed style. No foreign hairstyles are allowed. The hair may not be coloured.
Hair style (Girls):
Hair must be neatly tied up (in one ponytail) if longer than the collar of the shirt. No foreign hairstyles will be allowed. If the hair is braided it must be done in a neat manner, in ONE colour and if long, tied up. No fringes may hang over the eyebrows, if it does it has to be tied up or clipped away. No coloured or highlighted hair is allowed. Only blue or black hair accessories will be allowed.
Accessories
Medic-alert discs may be worn. When girls have pierced ears, plain 15mm gold or silver sleepers or round gold or silver studs, may be worn. Not more than one stud or sleeper may be worn in each ear lobe. Studs/sleepers must be worn in the lower part of the earlobe only. Boys may not wear earrings or have any visible piercing. No nose rings/studs, tongue bolts, eyebrow studs/rings, retainers or other visible piercings are allowed.
